Wer war eigentlich Claude Monet? Die Antwort darauf fanden die ROBIGS in der vergangenen Woche heraus. Auf der Suche nach Informationen über den Maler wurden die Schülerinnen und Schüler von Linnéa begleitet, der Protagonistin aus dem Buch „Linnéa im Garten des Malers" (geschrieben von Christina Björk). Sie führte die Kinder auf eine bunte Reise nach Paris und zu Monets Haus in Giverny, wo sie das Leben und die Werke des Malers kennenlernten. Eine besonders wichtige Station dieser Tour war das berühmte Mohnfeld-Gemälde von Monet, das die Mädchen und Jungen entsprechend der Techniken der Impressionisten nachmalten. Auf ihrer Reise durch Frankreich hat das neugierige Mädchen aus unserem Buch viel Wissen über Monet sammeln können. Alles was Linnéa an ihre Zeit in Frankreich erinnert, bewahrt sie in einer kleinen Schatztruhe auf. Die ROBIGS taten es ihr gleich. Aus Schuhkartons wurden Schatztruhen, gestaltet in Anlehnung an Monets Malstil. In Form von Bildern und Basteleien können die ROBIGS ihr neugewonnenes Wissen darin aufbewahren.

Who was Claude Monet? During the past week, ROBIGS´ students have found the answer to this question. Linnéa, the protagonist of the book "Linnéa im Garten des Malers" (written by Christina Björk) guided the students on a colourful journey to Paris and Monet´s house in Giverny, where they got to know the painter´s life and work. A particularly important stop off in this tour was the famous Poppy Field painting by Monet, which the children recreated mimicking the techniques used by impressionists. The curious little girl from our lecture collected lots of souvenirs and special treasures during her trip. Once she got home, she kept all of them in a little treasure chest.  ROBIGS´s students followed her example and decorated shoe boxes so that they could collect the sketches, factsheets, and other items related to Monet that they created throughout the week. This allows them to organize and preserve their newly gained knowledge.
